Join us for a public reading at {LIPS} of a new performance piece that fantasizes hopelessly about a dollar and a dream. Angela Kariotis and Lillian Ribeiro lead public writing and performance workshops with participants using devised theater techniques. The writing generated was then edited into a script created and directed by Kariotis with the workshop participants cast as performers. Ideas about economic human rights, capitalism, debt, freedom, and wealth are among what is explored. Cash rules everything around me...
