Brick City Speaks is back and better than ever, and we are excited to announce BCS will be performing MONTHLY at {LIPS}: Living Incubator Performance Space - their new home!

Brick City Speaks will bring a bevy of brilliant poets/writers ready to grace Brick City with stories and spoken word. Some of these literary geniuses include: Marina Carreira, PaulA Neves, Joy Priest, Anna Maria Manso, Ysabel Gonzalez and many more!

Our kick-off reading is Tuesday July 12, 7-9pm with Grisel Acosta. Open mic to follow from 8-8:30pm (so bring your poem/stories). Co hosted by Dinah Fay and Cindy Goncalves.

We look forward to seeing you again, and lighting up the Newark night with poetry - EVRY 2nd Tuesday of the month!
